Our current hot melt equipment capacity:

CRC built coater/laminator:
-60" web capacity
-48" (50" capacity) hot melt slot die: CRC design and build
****Heat control in 4 zones; heaters every 2"
****Micrometer valve every 2 inches
****Extrude directly behind steel knife
-Substrate unwind just below coating head

-Laminate unwind: 42" diameter capacity.
-4' chill plate between head and lamination point.
-4' chill plate between lamination point and rewinder (water spay cooling)
-Shear slitter just before rewinder
Overhead crane for loading rolls onto lamination unwind

Slot coat head extrudes adhesive onto moving web and doctored.

Web is supported from below by two rotating shafts.

Head position is adjustable to fine tune coating thickness.

Temperature controller for each zone in head.

Ball valves turn off flow of adhesive when machine is not coating.

2 Mercer (now ITW Dynatec) hot melt tanks:
-170 pound capacity zone heated tank.
-2 pumps each: 8.5cc/rev Zenith pumps with 1 hp motor each
